#1. It depends on what you’re writing. If your writing for the content mill, then titles are good, and as a former freelancer, that organization is helpful. If you’re writing creatively, titles rarely come first. A sentence does, or an idea, a remnant of a dream, an observation made in mundane of the day. Start small and let it grow.
#2 Scheduling is great, if you don’t have kids who have school and extracurricular activities or life. Interruptions are constant. Instead, write everywhere at anytime on anything. Small bits, ideas, then come back and work on them. But when you begin seriously writing, close the door and guard your time. Be dedicated in the time you allotted for yourself.
