A solid piece, with honest, and imo, correct observations.

And I get the kid shame too. My stepmothers nickname for me was "salt sack," and I was often called, "fats", but I looked at pics as me back then and I wasn't near obese. Pleasantly chubby, sure.

My healthy active lifestyle began when I asked the prettiest girl out in Grade 8 and she told me "You're just a little too fat for me." And that time, girls became more desired than dessert. I slimmed down.
