As a father of a 12 yr old daughter headed to junior high, I'm on high alert. Funny thing is there's this boy, who's been in my daughters class since grade 2. He's the charmer, every female teachers (only 1 male teacher through 6 grades) favorite pet. Outside? On the playground? He's a douche. The girls band together in defense. They tell the women teachers. To no avail, he is above the law and beyond reproach. Learning allowed behavior leading into grades with girls going through changes that are already wary of him.

My girl has been in Jujitsu and she has my permission to clock the kid if he lays a hand on her but still. ... I think her teacher even said those words to her this year, "oh he's just being a boy."
