Geezus. My hair was standing reading this, I felt sick , not from the details but from the familiarity of what my wife went through. I am 100% convinced that this was the catalyst for her depression and mental health issues, never mind the abuse her body went through. It was no better for her here in western Canada. Sent home with little to no explanations of what happened or what to expect. It traumatized her deeply. I am so, so sorry Danielle. For all of it.
