Good story. My wife has a lead foot and her brother is gear head. When they were young, he dropped a Porsche engine into a Fiero. Apparently, that sumbitch could fly. Wife got two speeding trips on the same trip, in the same direction when she borrowed it.

But my fav story is when we had our first ( of three Volvo's) and she was about 7 or 8 months pregnant and going to visit a friend. Taking secondary highways, she got pulled over. When she asked the cop, convincingly innocent and clueless, "How fast was I going?" he answered, "Ma'am, you were going 140km/hr and accelerating--going up hill."

Yeah, she got a lot of tickets.
