Great read and I agree that Putin won’t retreat or accept defeat but people wrongly assume Russia is on the verge of collapse and they need the rest of the world. They don’t. They have ample resources to be self sufficient for a long time. Taking Ukraine only makes this more plausible by adding agricultural fields to their food bank. If he stops at Ukraine, the world will be lucky.
