Hilarious. I'm married to a snore cannon myself. Look, just take your index finger and thumb and make the A-OK, hand sign. The lay your lovely arm gently above the baby and line up said hand signal to his ear or side of his head. Then launch your finger off your thumb and snap him one. When he wakes up and looks you give him "the look". Repeat as necessary. (btw, I don't do this. I'm not suicidal)
