I have no empathy for these types of parents. If they watch their angels being little dickheads, I tell them so when they cuddle up to gush about "our kids". We've had this situation and I've said right to the parent, "Yup. great kids. Great how they intentionally treat mine like shit. Good parenting." My wife, of course gave me holy hell for it but I said, "If they don't care about my kid, why in the hell should I care what they think of me? I'm not invested in them, I'm invested in my child."

My rule is simple. Be a good human or GFY.

I am sorry this is happening. My kid is a good one and she gets shafted all the time. Especially in sports where it's the same clique that moves up to the elite squad, regardless of talent. I have no patience for that.
