I only recently learned that this was a actually a thing. I read an article about it, the lack of being able to visualize/conceptualize fiction. It's remarkable to someone like me who feels what he sees all the time; whether it's fiction or not. Sometimes, I have to back off from reading certain writers because I feel so tuned in to them, it's as though I feel their energy jump right off the words and into me.
