I'm glad I waited to read this until after viewing. I didn't want any sort of intro beyond the few trailers I'd seen. My company for the movie last night was my wife's bestie and daughters Godmom, who loves Cruise so much she named her cat Cruise. Aside from her thrills , cheers and tears, I thought it was a spectacular movie and greatly surpassed the original, making this one of the rare sequels to best the original.

Edge of my seat on the flying scenes. Crazy talent to film that!
