It surprises to learn there isn't a certain political statement being made with this film. Also surprising that the details of how/why the conflict occurred is left out.

Still, it sounds like a must watch. I thought the Netflix? Show- Leave the World Behind was excellent and thought Civil War would be more in that vein.
