I've been reading Richard Crim here on Medium for a few years now and he laid this out, step by step back then. His articles are excellent, (even though the news is terrible) but he uses excellent graphics and vetted science to back his statements. He expected this in 2021, except it's even hotter than he predicted.

We are not in good shape. It is not going to get better.
