I've been up there where the permafrost lives and it's awfully squishy. I didn't know about the sub fires but I did know about the carbon trap. More good news.
On another note, have I asked you about the consistent increase in solar storms?
We are seeing them more frequently than ever before at my work. Almost daily. The severity and duration is unlike earlier years. It's causing significant issues with our magnetic instruments. Curious what data you may have on that.
