My bro in law, has two biracial kids, sister and older brother-both of them are gorgeous and good people, with the niece bearing a strong resemblance to yourself. Both of them have white partners. Both smart, happy and wildly creative and talented. Though they did not grow up poor or share similar circumstances as you, they faced their struggles. Her more so, I think. It's a specific experience to be biracial, especially when the one half is black.

Your story, the little KL, makes me sad but proud at how you fought through. Most sad is the abuse you suffered, and for that I am truly sorry.
