Nice. A loaded choice with bonus material! First of all, the rating.

Jules-80

Bangles- 98.

and here's why. As I played the videos, I scrolled down so as not to be distracted, and in the meantime was brainstorming a fiction piece. Jules's version did not interrupt that process. I continued my notes without losing focus.

The Bangles version-about 30 seconds in and I put the pen down and scrolled the screen back up.

The bonus videos.

It's a tough call for the Bangles UK version. I liked it quite a bit. I enjoyed the movement, seeing more of Susanna and enjoyed the stage and camera angels. Although it gets a little boring watching her walking the rotating sidewalk for so long. As for the US version, has there ever been a woman who looks more brilliant in b&w that Susanna? Gosh dang she's cute!

Steady-Jules.

I had to scroll down and hide the video. It was terribly distracting from the song, but once the screen was up and music stood alone, I really enjoyed that song.

Also, "All through the night" is a great song, perhaps Lauper's best.
