Oh yes, I remember the early Alanis. We had a program called "Video Hits" which ran just before supper time across the country on our national tv station. Alanis was a constant hit on there. She had it all, the big hair, big smile and pop hits.

BUT did you know that her angst and anger in Jagged Little Pill comes from her experiences with a producer during this young stage of her career? It was quite well know that the guy did quite a number on Alanis, emotionally. She almost quit making music after her 2nd album.
