Our hometown girls hockey organization put on a big tournament this weekend and part of the team bonding was a private view of Wakanda Forever, and for a greatly reduced price, parents were welcome to join.

I also thought that Black Panther was great and also agree that this was less than that.

I also thought of Avatar but thought this storyline was at least marginally better, though no less predictable.

And, sadly, I did not get lost in the story, but did ache at the length, nearly falling asleep twice.

For me, it was a shame to have Basset killed off. Her performance was the best of the cast and her UN speech was electrifying. That woman has serious acting chops while the others were okay but to me, they seemed too small for the weight of their roles should have carried.

I was, however, moderately impressed with the neatness of explaining away the disappearance of the Aztec people.

My overall rating would be a 6/10.
