…is name, millions have seen him over the past 40 years; he played Wendell Newton, the sax player for The Cruisers in the film Eddie and the Cruisers. Unlike the rest of the members of that fictional band, “Tunes” wasn’t faking his parts; all of the music for the film was done by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. I chose the song above because the sax part haunted me at 17 and still does four decades later.
