The other night we had kiddo's bff join us for supper- well, she's here at least 4 days of the week, anyways she's a good eater. Shepherds Pie and my kid lifts a forkful, eyeballs it and gives it the tongue tickle taste test. Meanwhile the other girl is wolfing it down and eyeing 2nds. I look at her and point to my kid and say, "A chef's kid--look at this bullshit."

Both kids burst out laughing. My knucklehead has had plenty of Shepherds Pie. Shake my head.
