There was a great disturbance in the force during the 90s, which led me away from anything mainstream and almost exclusively into country music. I don't connect with most of this list, but then again, the 90s saw most of the time spent skiing down mountainsides or knee-deep in rushing rivers. However, I do agree that it was a horrific decade by all accounts, and I barely survived.
