There's nothing to argue here. I will go and read the articles you highlighted.
What worries me the most, with a daughter is that one time, that one situation where she can be broken. I don't believe that violation can ever be healed. Once it's broken, it's broken forever. There's no reason, or excuse for the violator. They know what they are doing. And the trauma they cause lasts forever. It's unforgivable. It's subhuman.
Men have to evolve past the monkey brain, the caveman mentality.
I also agree that fiction writing is probably the best way to express the things we cannot and would not do.
I am deeply sorry for all that you have lived with at the hands of the worst of men. And that trauma lives very close to home.
