Things I like about your story, kasey. First, writing what you know into fiction--that's how is supposed to go when you begin--well done.

Next, is noticing the small things. The blue framed glasses. One thing on an otherwise ordinary face. I often notice a small detail on a woman, earring choice, a necklace with a pendant, or some item, a ring on the non marriage hand--why did she chose that item? What does the ring or necklace signify? Who gave it to her, wny does she like that colour? Small things but exclusively owned with confidence.

Good story!
