This is good stuff and you a good cook's soul. What does my kitchen say? It's says, "Sit down, there's food here." It says "welcome" as you step inside the house to smells of stock, or roasting bones, or fresh-baked yeast breads and pastries, or pumpkin muffins, apple squares or banana muffins." The my kid knows the smells of her favorite meals, and my wife of my Coconut, red curry, peanut and lime soup she can't get enough of.

As for what I can't live without? Most likely the kitchen aid mixer I've had for over 20 years. I worry about her each time I make her knead dough or whip up a meringue at top speed.
