This is so sweet to me because it's true.

My wife was given a frog, I think it was ceramic, maybe clay...anyways, a dear friend gave it to her sometime before we met, telling my wife it was a magic frog and if she spoke nicely to him and kissed him everyday, her prince would arrive.

Shortly after that we had our first date. Between my incredible charm and the frog's magic, it was all that was required.

But the frog story doesn't end there!

My wife passed the frog to her dear friend, a darling Japanese girl, who was perpetually unlucky in love. Brenda (wife) gave the same instructions with the frog to her friend.

She gave the frog the same treatment, and soon returned to Japan with the frog in hand. Mere months later she met the love of her life, and they remain married and happy.

I am always nice to frogs.
