This was so incredibly sweet and effervescent with that innocent joy of teenage years. Do you remember my “Sandy” story?
Probably a decade later we passed by each other at the hockey rink in my hometown on one of my return visits. Same thing. Recognition and a smile with no words exchanged. She with her kids, and even in that few seconds of looking at one another, a book could have been written.
In this piece, you remind me so much of Sandy.
