Welcome back. This is alarming stuff. This spring was the first time in my 40 years of adulthood, where I measure the climate by rivers, that there was NO spring runoff from the mountains. NO high water.

The big rivers, where you could not wade 1/3 of the way across were now crossable in several areas. Lowest water levels I've ever witnessed.

Snowpacks had melted by April, when they usually melt from late May to mid-June.

Alpine river temps were higher than I've ever read. That tells me enough that we're in trouble.
