Why Can’t Shonda Rhimes Kill Off Amelia Shepherd Already?

Before I get into this ridiculous, chastising rant about a person who doesn’t exist, I want to state that Shonda Rhimes, who is very real, is a wicked TV and movie writer.
From her prime-time smash of Grey’s Anatomy to its spinoff, Private Practice, and the firehouse favorite Station 19, Rhimes can write some dandy TV drama.

I couldn’t stand to look at his smug, smarmy face for five minutes, never mind an hour a night each week, and I renamed him “McGreasy.” I didn’t like him, I didn’t like his wife Addison, and only that cute-as-a-button little Meredith Grey-played by Ellen Pompeo, gave the show any watchable minutes.
Anyways, eventually, McGreasy got divorced, then sanitized and paired up with the star of the show, Meredith Grey…
