When Finch wrote that first Charles Lennox mystery, he was an unknown author who put his personal email address on his website. I had a first edition, but it was not signed, so I emailed him asking if he would sign my copy if I mailed it to him along with return postage. He said he would be glad to and gave me the address of his apartment in Manhattan (the world has changed a lot in 15 years). Within two weeks of that email, I had a signed, inscribed copy.
