Yeah—-no. They are fine, I guess. Over done, watered down and lost in meaning, IMO. My favourite are knuckle tattoos, you know, with the complex words like ‘“love” on one and “hate” on the other—oh good for you, you have complex emotions—welcome to humanity!
At least they are not as bad as septum rings—those are immediate disqualifiers of any sense.
